Bill Brenner, Senior Vice President of Content Strategy at CyberRisk Alliance, is an InfoSec content strategist, researcher, director, tech writer, blogger and community builder. He was formerly director of research at IANS, senior writer/content strategist at Sophos, senior tech writer for Akamai Technology's Security Intelligence Research Team (Akamai SIRT), managing editor for CSOonline.com and senior writer for SearchSecurity.com.

As the director of MITRE Engenuity’s Center for Threat-Informed Defense, Jon Baker is responsible for the Center’s strategy and its outcomes as he convenes the global cybersecurity community to advance the state of the art and the practice in threat-informed defense. Jon co-founded the Center as a privately funded research and development organization where he partners with sophisticated cybersecurity teams to systematically advance the global understanding of adversary tradecraft and apply that knowledge to improve the community’s ability to defend against those threats. Jon has extensive experience leading research teams and collaborating with industry to advance cybersecurity capabilities. Most recently, he led MITRE’s Cyber Threat Intelligence and Adversary Emulation Department where he was responsible for advancing those critical capabilities across MITRE’s work program and overseeing MITRE’s work on MITRE CALDERATM and MITRE ATT&CK®. Jon led MITRE’s team in the early development of the OASIS STIX and TAXII standards while supporting the Department of Homeland Security. He led MITRE’s security automation team through the development of SCAP and managed the CVE team. He was a co-creator of OVAL, a standard language for describing and checking for the presence of misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and other endpoint artifacts. Jon holds a Master’s in Computer Science from Boston University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Tufts University.

Malcolm Harkins is an independent board member and advisor to several organizations. He is also an executive coach to CISOs and others in a wide variety of information risk roles. Harkins engages in a wide variety of peer outreach activities to drive improvements across the world in the understanding of cyber risks and best practices to manage and mitigate those risks. Key areas of focus include the ethics around technology risk, social responsibility, total cost of controls, and driving more industry accountability.

Ed Harris is pursuing his Doctorate in Information Assurance and has 32+ years of Network and Security experience. Mr. Harris is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and has spent 12 years in academia teaching Computer Security at the University of North Carolina. Mr. Harris is a founding member of the Retail Cyber Information Sharing Center. He currently serves on the Cyber Security Scholarship Review Board for ISC2 and is an active member of FBI InfraGard. He is the past President of the ISC2 Chapter in Greensboro, NC, and is a former member of the National Security Council for the US Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Harris is a security evangelist, author, and international speaker and has spoken academically and professionally for more than 29+ years.

Daniel Thomas is a technology writer, researcher, and content producer for CyberRisk Alliance. He has over a decade of experience writing on the most critical topics of interest for the cybersecurity community, including cloud computing, artificial intelligence and machine learning, data analytics, threat hunting, automation, IAM, and digital security policies. For more than 25 years, Jen Miller-Obsorn has worked in cyber threat intelligence and served as a subject matter expert advising multiple US federal agencies. She has influenced national cybersecurity policies and regularly briefs members of the government and private sector, at all levels. She also has extensive experience working with international governments and law enforcement agencies to have real world impact on attackers.

Jen leads research teams focused on identifying and differentiating between cyber-espionage and cybercrime actors and groups and using that knowledge to create actionable advice for organizations and government entities to apply to strengthen their security posture.

Jen has a passion for threat intelligence sharing and is an advocate for public private partnerships and collaboration. Jen has testified before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs hearing on the Log4Shell vulnerability.

Jen is a veteran of the US Air Force and has several degrees and technical certifications, including a Master of Science degree in information technology from the University of Maryland. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
