In this role, Phil drives research, provides thought leadership and advises clients on complex issues including cybersecurity of the cloud and in the cloud. His commentary will address the benefits and challenges to what's been called the shared responsibility model and how that line may change going forward. Most recently, Phil started and ran two full-service digital agencies with a major focus on large enterprise IT Fortune 500 clients. Notably, he previously worked for the New York State Assembly, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and IBM in various roles. As Senior Cloud Product Manager at eSentire, James Hastings steers the direction of cloud product development, cloud solution integrations, and internal cloud enablement.

Prior to joining eSentire, James worked as a Technical Account Manager for Enterprise business at Lacework, where he focused on enabling security at scale for cloud native customers. In previous roles at Alert Logic, James oversaw the introduction of CSPM and other cloud specific technologies, managed global AWS Marketplace sales, and worked as a subject matter expert for all Alert Logic solutions at the enterprise level.

James holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston where he studied Computer Information Systems, Supply Chain Technology, and Organizational Leadership.

Raaz Herzberg is VP Marketing and Product Strategy at Wiz, the world’s fastest growing cloud security company that serves over 30% of the Fortune 100. Before Wiz, Raaz led security products in Microsoft, including Azure Sentinel. 

Raaz is a veteran of the intelligence unit of the Israeli Defense Force, where she started her career in cyber security. She holds an B.Sc. in Computer Science.

Scott is from Massachusetts and most recently joined Elastic through the acquisition of a cloud security company called Cmd. Having spent the past decade in the cyber security space, Scott has spent a majority of his time working on better options for Linux based security tooling.

Tony Karam is currently Director Product Marketing at Lacework. A big believer that security “takes a village”, Tony brings to his role more than 25 years of B2B cybersecurity experience covering data protection, vulnerability management, identity and access management and cloud security. Prior to joining Lacework, Tony held various senior-level marketing and product management roles at start-ups and industry leaders including Concourse Labs, RSA, BeyondTrust, Positive Technologies and Wave Systems.

John McDonough is a Senior Cloud Architect / Cloud DevOps Engineer at Fortinet for the past 3 years, delivering innovative Cloud deployment and automation solutions to global customers.  Prior to Fortinet John was a Developer Advocate for 6 years for Cisco Systems’ DevNet, capping the 18 years he was at Cisco. During his 35-year software development career John has contributed to Open-Source projects, Ansible and OpenStack, is a distinguished speaker at many Cisco Live events and has spoken about Open-Source contribution and Data Center and Cloud automation at many industry events, including SXSW, DevOps Days, API Days, HashiConf, MS Build, and Github Universe.

John resides in the country in Sussex New Jersey with his wife and his cat Gigi. He likes to ride bikes, fly kites, sit on the beach, and occasionally participate in trivia and karaoke at the local pub.

Will Seaton has 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, most recently helping large enterprises enforce security and compliance best practices like Zero Trust, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Benchmarks, NIST SP 800-190, and fine-grained access controls in their cloud environments.

Ryan Leirvik is the Founder and CEO of Neuvik. With a background in both offensive and defensive cyber operations, he mainly spends his time with teams discovering technical exploits and preparing appropriate information security strategies to defend against them. Ryan has briefed many executive Boards on cyber readiness and is the author of “Understand, Manage, and Measure Cyber Risk”. He previously served as the Chief of Staff and an Associate Director of Cyber for the US Department of Defense at the Pentagon. Ryan holds a master’s degree in IT from Virginia Tech, an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, and a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University.
